Installing AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009 Subscription Bonus Pack 2 on a 64 bit Operating System

Subscription customers running AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009 on a 64 bit operating system (XPx64 or Vistax64) may have noticed that BP2 (yes, I’m shortening it again) failed to install. The readme has been updated to illustrate the required installation process on a 64 bit operating system. The process is as follows:

NOTE: On 64-bit operating systems, extract Civil3D2009Subscription2.exe to a local folder (the default is C:\Install\Autodesk\SubscriptionBonusPack2Install\CDROM1) deselecting the option "When done unzipping open: CDROM1\setup.exe". After the files have successfully unzipped, browse to the local folder and double click the SubscriptionBonusPack2.msi file. This will enable the bonus pack to be installed correctly.
