If you have noticed that triangle with an exclamation point in it, by now, you know that the warning symbol is a symbol that shows up any time there is a violation of specified Design Criteria. Design Criteria is a tool that is available in the last couple of releases, and the tool that checks Alignment and Profile violations in design phase. There are few things about them worth mentioning:
- These symbols, by default, are set to be shown in the drawing and not printing.
- This symbol is part of current alignment/profile style and can be turned off/on in the drawing.
- These symbols are automatically resizing upon ZOOM and REGEN
- The intention is to warn the user of the violation and have him/her resolve it.
But, it is also true that users can turn the display of it in the printout. If you want to make it be visible during print you can do so in Options dialog. Here are the steps:
1. In command line type OP or OPTIONS
2. In AEC Editor under Solution Tips check Plotting/Publishing
3. Invoke PLOT command and confirm that Warning Symbol is printed.
Until next time. Goodbye!
