Although the Zoom to Point functionality was first introduced in the Subscription Advantage Pack for the 2010 product, it has now been worked into the Civil 3D 2011 Ribbon. Additionally you will find it has a new friend right above it, the functionality to List Available Point Numbers. For all you hardcore Land Desktop fans, I personally I know how many of you have been wanting these commands to reside within Civil 3D.
Zoom to Point will send you directly to the command line to specify point number, name, or point range, just as it did in Civil 3D 2010 with the Subscription Advantage Pack installed. List Available Point Numbers will also send you directly to the command line listing the ranges available. All in all these are two very simple commands. Simple or not, they were in high demand, so look for this functionality in the 2011 release and enjoy!
