Althought this has been blogged about a few times before on Without a Net and our very own Being Civil, I thought it needed a refresh to let you know how important these can be for us here in Support, you (the users), and the Development Team.
Although I will not reiterate both the above blog posts and also this complete explanation of the process I just wanted to remind you to always submit these, and if possible note in the comments section how this issue came about. This can be very helpful to us in Support, and more so to the Development team.
If the issue that caused the unexpected close is known and addressed you will be notified to apply the available Update.
This will also save us some steps if you have logged a support case with us as well. It is typically some of the first information we ask for and may provide an immediate clue as to why or what caused the unexpected close on your machine. The quicker we have the information, the quicker we can help you get back on track.
