Seth Hall
Product Support Specialist
My name is Seth Hall, and I have been a Product Support Specialist with Autodesk since the summer of 2008. I really enjoy the troubleshooting aspect of being a Support Specialist, and also the satisfaction of helping customers with their various issues. As you can guess from the majority of my posts I am partial to the pipes feature in Civil 3D, however I do my best to keep as sharp as I can on all features found within the product.
My industry background consists of working for a local land survey firm as a member of a field crew, draftsman, and a NH State licensed subsurface systems designer (fancy name for septic systems). I spent many a day shooting road topo, boundary surveys, road/construction layout, etc. Occasionally I miss working in the great outdoors, but as soon as the New Hampshire winter sets in, I am thankful to be sitting in a warm office helping out our Civil 3D customers.
For education, I went to the University of New Hampshire Thompson School of Applied Science, studying in their Land Survey program. I also had an internship with the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department doing boundary identification surveys of their conservation land.
I currently live in Manchester, NH with my beautiful wife, 3 kids, 2 steps-kids (yes that is 5 total), and our boxer, Murphy. As you can guess I rarely have free time, but when I do I enjoy spending time with family, running, the New Hampshire outdoors, throwing rocks in water, music, and any kind of gadgets or new technology.
